Age: 18-25 years
Deadline: 08.October 2017
Description
The Institute of Social and Human Studies – Tirana is implementing a project related to the status of work in Albania, which analyzes the dynamics of employment in the country, especially self-employment practices. Self-employment is a very small field of research and analysis, both economically and economically – the overall impact on the economy and the social economy – on the quality of life of self-employed people.
The analysis that the Institute has conducted speaks of a high level of self-employment in Albania, two to three times more than in the countries of the region as well as those of the European Union.
Questions
What does a high level of self-employment mean?
How are young people in a job market dominated by self-employment and not regular employment?
What are the policies, education and training that the new generation of Albanians need to find a safe and long-term job?
All these questions are to be discussed in a series of meetings with young people from the cities of Elbasan, Korça, Vlora, Shkodra and Tirana.
The format of the meetings will be in the form of a semi-structured focus group with questions and moderation by the Institute’s representatives. Each of the participants can discuss any of the issues that are open to discussion by passing the word from one participant to another.
