Albanian Youth Action on Eu Acquis
The Institute of Social and Human Studies organized in Dajti Park Tirana on June 13-14 the training Albanian Youth Action on Eu Acquis, as part of the project : ‘Support to Civil Society Organizations for the Implementation of Capacity Building Actions to Increase Policy Dialogue and Awareness on European Integration Process’. The main focus of the training was to organize and lead a research and activist group in identifying most pressing needs of young people in one of the fields of the EU acquis.
The training was attended by students selected from over 150 applicants from the young community leaders from the faculties in Tirana, Elbasan, Korce and Shkoder.
During the entire training, we kept strictly the Anti-COVID protocol, social distances, hygienic conditions, application of disinfectants, use of masks and gloves, etc.
The welcoming speech by Leart Kola, Executive Director of ISSH, who stressed the importance of this program in preparing a team of young people who will be trained in creating a project platform on issues that accompany young people in Albania.
The module was prepared by the experts Maura Linadi, Rezart Struga, Verdi Norja and Resul Resulaj.
The module was developed by Artan Sadiku PhD, who has a long experience as a trainer in the region and focused on the following topics:
• Preliminary analysis of the organization;
• Creating a problem manifestation strategy;
• Drafting the message and the problem tree;
• Group work;
• Presentation group;
Further on the research was done in smaller groups on the current situation in Albania and analysis that link it to the negotiations process (chapters) with the help of experts. The main issues that come into focus from the participants where the ones related to the education system.
The interest of young people was impressive, manifested in the analytical treatment of youth issues of education, social issues and the mentality of society, as well as the provision of various draft projects.
The second week of the training on June 20-21, the participants divided into groups prepared the documents for identifying the problems, presenting to the decision makers and following the project during the summer for the October conference.
